Major Terror Attack Foiled in Yerushalayim

Israeli security forces thwarted a massive combined bombing and shooting attack planned by a 19-year-old terrorist from Beit Hanina. According to the Shin Bet and police, the terrorist planned to detonate an explosive device at the Lions’ Gate before entering Har Habayis and opening fire on Jewish civilians and police officers. The suspect spent two years preparing, studying security arrangements, searching for weapons on the dark web, and training in martial arts. He admitted being inspired by the October 7 massacre. An indictment has been filed against him.
