Shas chairman Aryeh Deri announced that he will not resign

Shas chairman Aryeh Deri announced that he will not resign, saying he has received clear instructions from the Moetzes Chachmei HaTorah to remain in his position and accepts their decision without hesitation. Deri thanked the rabbonim for their continued trust and support. Deri said he will convene a Shas faction meeting tomorrow with the party’s Knesset members and senior municipal representatives to review lessons learned, regroup, and move the party forward.
