Just walked out of my polling place and realized: voting is a lot like sales. We put in the effort we're capable of. We make our choice. But we don't control the outcome. We don't know if our pick will win. And even if they do, results aren't always immediate. Sometimes it takes time before we see the impact. As salespeople, we know this feeling. We make the calls, send the follow-ups, show up for the meetings. Some deals close fast, some take months, some don't close at all. But we do our part anyway, because we have to!
