Tesla to Wind Down Cybertruck Production in 2027

Elon Musk announced Friday that Tesla will begin winding down Cybertruck production at its Gigafactory in Texas around mid-2027 to make room for increased production of its Cybercab autonomous robotaxi. The move follows disappointing Cybertruck sales since its 2023 launch. Musk did not clarify whether production would end permanently or move to another facility.
