Two private helicopters collided mid-air while simultaneously attempting to land at the Pheriche helipad in the Mount Everest region of Nepal

The collision occurred around 8:11 AM local time at the Pheriche heliport (located at an altitude of approximately 4,200 meters / 13,780 feet) in the Solukhumbu district. The two aircraft involved were a Fishtail Air helicopter and an Air Dynasty helicopter.
